IYD 2024: Arimobi, SA to Governor Oborevwori, Applauds Delta Youths and Urges for a Supportive Community

ASABA: Engr. Miracle Arimobi, Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Female Youths Development, has extended her warmest congratulations to Nigerian youths in celebration of the 2024 International Youth Day.

In a statement released on Monday, August 12, Arimobi emphasized the importance of this day, noting it as a crucial moment to recognize the immense potential within every young person and their essential role in shaping society’s future.

“International Youth Day is a powerful reminder of the limitless potential within each of you and the critical part you play in shaping the future of our society,” she stated.

This year’s theme, “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development,” highlights the need to empower young people and acknowledge their contributions to societal development and progress.

Arimobi expressed particular admiration for the young women of Delta State, praising their impressive achievements and leadership across various fields.

“I am especially proud to celebrate this day with our remarkable young women, who are breaking barriers and driving change across numerous sectors. Their resilience and determination are truly inspiring,” she said.

The Special Assistant stressed the importance of addressing the challenges that many young girls face, particularly in areas such as education, health, and safety. “It is imperative that we work together to overcome these challenges and ensure that every girl has access to the opportunities and resources she needs to thrive,” she added.

Arimobi also called on parents, educators, and community leaders to continue advocating for the rights of young girls and to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.

“By working together, we can empower our young women to become the leaders and change-makers of tomorrow,” she urged.

In conclusion, Arimobi extended her best wishes to all youths in Delta State, with a special acknowledgment of the girls.
