The Manager Media and Public Relations for BSN, Benjamin Mordi, said in a statement that students with visual disabilities from seven schools would participate in the annual Bible quiz competition.

Mordi said that two students would represent each of the following participating schools in the 5th edition of the Bible quiz.

He listed the names of the participating schools as: Bethesda Home for the Blind, Mushin; Vocational School for the Blind, Oshodi; Kings College, Obalende; Lagos State Senior Model College, Agbowa-Ikosi; Lagos State Junior Model College, Agbowa-Ikosi, and Federal Government College, Ijaniki, and Pacelli School for the Blind, Surulere, all in Lagos.

According to him, the Bible quiz, which will be chaired by Pastor Adegoke Arowosegbe of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), New Glory Area, Ogiji, Ogun State, is designed to provide a platform for people with visual impairment to engage with the word of God in pursuit of transformation of their lives.

He said that the winner of the competition would go home with a cash prize of N100,000, the first runner-up would N75,000, while the second runner-up would get N50,000.

The society also organises programmes that engage people with the Word of God to transform their lives.

So far, the BSN has translated the complete Bible into 27 Nigerian languages, while translation/revision is on-going in 10 Nigerian languages.
