This is the second edition of the CAF African Schools Football Championship Continental Finals.

Durban, South Africa, hosted the first Championship last year.

The CAF African Schools Football Championship Continental Finals will be played tonight with the opening fixture at 18h30 local time (15h30 GMT).

The success of the CAF African Schools Football Championship is a partnership between CAF, African Governments, Member Associations and Schools.

It is supported by the Motsepe Foundation who donated US$10 million towards the Programme.

In the Girls Under-15 category, Morocco will play South Africa at 15h30 GMT (18h30 local time) in what is expected to be an exciting feature.

In the Boys Under-15 category, Guinea, the defending champions, will face Tanzania.

Runners-up will each receive US$ 200,000, while the bronze medallists will each take home US$ 150,000, courtesy of CAF’s partnership with the Motsepe Foundation to be utilised for development projects within schools.
