
The Coordinator of Ezza South Development Centre (DC) of Ezza South Local Government Area, Mr Chinedu Aloke has distributed eight motorcycles to the management committe members of the centre.
Aloke who made the presentations in the company of past chairmen of the council, traditional rulers among other stakeholders, said the gesture was in line with Governor Francis Nwifuru’s madate of administrative efficiency at the grassroots.
The DC Coordinator said that the governor provided coordinators with brand new cars for effectively service delivery and charged them to replicate same at their dornains.
“This made me to donate these motorcycles to the management committe members who help in managing the affairs of the centre.
“This is the first phase of the distribution as more of such items would be given to speacial assistants among other category of aides,”.
He commended Governor Nwufuru for his selfless service and utmost dedication towards the development of the state.
“The governor has repositioned the state for greatness through incisive inprints in all spheres of its existence.
“We are motivated to replicate such strides by ensuring deiivéry of democratic dividends at the grassroots.
“We assure the governor of 100 per cent support during the 2027 elections and also to all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates,”.
Aloke thanked the stakeholders for their support and pledged to work assiduously towards the overall development of the area.
A Former Executive Chairman of Ezza South Local Governent Area (LGA) Chief Joseph Egede commended Aloke for the gesture, noting that it will ease the movement challenges faced by the management committe members.
Egede said the stakeholders were happy with Aloke’s performances and would support him to continue succeeding.
“I urge the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the motorcycles to contribute to the overall development of the area,.”
Chief Sunday Ogodo, another Past Chairman of the council, hailed the
DC chairman for the gesture, noting that he should be supported to continue performing in office.
“This is the type of performance that makes us call for increment in the allocation of funds given to LGAs for officials such as Aloke to do more.
“He has endeared himself in the hearts of the people and we will support him to do more,” he said.
The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of (NUJ) in Ebonyi, Mr Samson Nwafor also commended the coordinator, noting that the union will continue performing its paramount duty of promoting good governance.
