Gov’s wife lectures Ebonyi women on stress management, well-being

Abakaliki, Nigeria – The Wife of Ebonyi Governor’, Mrs Mary-Maudline Nwifuru has advised women to build self-compassion and self-esteem to lower stress and strive for success.

Nwifuru gave the advise on Thursday, while interacting with women in a seminar to mark the Ebonyi Women’s Day celebration, with the theme “empowering women for sustainable energy solutions to address climate change”, in Abakaliki.

The seminar, which was attended by scores of women across the state is aimed at carving personalities out of them.

The week-long event featured prayer summit, novelty football competition, and the seminar, among other activities.

According to her, self-care would help women be the best versions of all and attract the best in entrepreneur and other ventures.

In her remarks, the Secretary to the State Government and Resource Person, Mrs Grace Umezurike, charged women on best behaviour and put in their best for the development of the state.

Another Facilitator and Actress, Mrs Charity Eke, popularly known as Chacha, advised women to pay attention to all and sundry that makes them a better person.

Eke, who spoke on depression and metal health, advocated for self recovery and encouraged the women to avoid stress and focus on personality development.

At the he event, N25,000 Cash Transfer was made to each of the 5,000 beneficiaries under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Pet Project of the Wife of the President, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu.
