Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election says he will only work with the Bola Tinubu-led administration after the ongoing political process has been concluded.
He stated this during an interview on Arise TV on Monday, October 2, following a question by Ayo Mario-Ese on if he would ever work or share ideas with the current administration.
Obi was placed third in the February 25 polls and he is challenging the process that saw Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerge as President.
“We are at a point where we are challenging the process. This is part of what makes a nation.
“The process through which people come into office or assume or achieve anything is far more fundamental than what they thereafter.
“It is important that people come through the right door and not just jump through the window and start saying let us move and let us clean it up, no.”
Obi added, “We are challenging the process and that has to come to a logical end before any other thing. We have to begin to the right thing and right process.”
