IPMAN commends Soludo for business-friendly policies

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has applauded Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State for his business-friendly initiatives and people-oriented governance.

Mr. Chinedu Anyaso, Chairman of IPMAN Enugu Depot Community, which oversees operations in Anambra, Ebonyi and Enugu states, gave the commendation on Wednesday in Awka.

Anyaso noted that Soludo had approved the harmonised levies agreed upon with petroleum marketers in the state.

He said that discussions on levies at the local government level were ongoing.

He also praised the governor’s efforts in road infrastructure, healthcare and human capital development.

According to him, these achievements are evidence of quality leadership.

The IPMAN chairman also disclosed that petroleum marketers owed by the Anambra State Government for services rendered had been profiled for payment.

“Marketers in Enugu Depot wish to thank Gov. Soludo for creating an enabling environment for businesses, especially for our members,.

“Apart from supporting business growth, the governor has done well across various sectors and we encourage him not to relent,” he added.

Anyaso further urged IPMAN members to mobilise voters in their areas, participate peacefully in the election and support Soludo’s second-term bid.

He also urged them to while ensure compliance with the Electoral Act and security guidelines.
