LWC honours Tijani for exemplary and exceptional leadership

The senior management staff of Lagos Water Corporation (LWC) has lauded its Managing Director, Engr. Mukhtaar Temitope Tijani (MTT), for his outstanding leadership characterized by unwavering dedication, innovative thinking, and a fervent commitment to excellence.

His efforts have empowered employees to drive significant, transformative changes within the organization.

This commendation came during the closing session of an advanced training workshop/program titled “High-Impact Leadership Training Workshop: Building A Ready Utility Company,” which took place from October 14th to 16th, 2025.

The workshop was tailored for LWC’s strategic leadership team, aimed at enhancing leadership capabilities and positioning the corporation for sustainable future growth.

In his vote of thanks, Mr. Idowu Rilwan Adenekan, Director of Inventory, articulated the collective gratitude of the executive team.

He described Engr. Tijani’s contributions as a true embodiment of excellence and innovation, highlighting his steadfast commitment to elevating the corporation to new heights.

He emphasized that Tijani’s strategic vision has been a catalyst for the corporation’s recent successes.

Mr. Adenekan noted that Tijani’s inspiring vision encourages the team to transcend conventional boundaries, resulting in groundbreaking outcomes driven by his strategic and transformational leadership.

He assured the entire management staff that the insights gained from the workshop would facilitate meaningful change through strategic thinking, innovation, and enhanced team performance.

Stressed the importance of staying ahead of the curve to ensure that Lagos Water Corporation continues to meet public needs effectively in a rapidly changing landscape.

In closing, he extended heartfelt thanks to the facilitators—Mr. Tokunbo Adeboye, Mrs. Funmi Adegoke, and Dr. Dapo Omojola of Sales Force Multidynamics Limited—for their invaluable knowledge sharing.
