He said: I’m assuring you that as soon as the law is passed by the Federal Government, the minimum wage implementation committee set up in the state will look into it.

“It is sad that the present society is one where most people want something for nothing. Therefore, I urge our workers in the state to deliver on value.

“We will continue to make the local government system in the state to be financially viable too,” he said .

The Governor commended the leadership and members of the commission for making the local government system work.

“That is part of the process of rebuilding the public service from top to bottom and bottom to top.

“I urge you all to be the change that you want to see in your respective workplaces.

“And as a government, we will continue to deliver on our promises,” Soludo said.

In his keynote address, former Aviation Minister, Mr Osita Chidoka urged
public servants to be civil in their conduct and eschew situations which would give birth to empathy.

Chidoka also urge them to think about the minimum output in the discharge of their duties to help grow the national economy.

He urged the state government to make such interactive session continuous with different segments of the society.
