Mosan Okunola LCDA taxes Gowon Estate new EXCO on Dev

The Mosan Okunola, Local Council Development Area has urged Gowon Estate North, Community Development Association (CDA), to mobilise the community to achieve it desired needs.

Mr Olufemi Ojo, Secretary, caretaker, Community Development Committee (CDC) said this during the election and inauguration of the newly elected executive officers of Gowon Estate CDA officials on Friday, August 18, 2023.

Ojo advised residents of the estate to cooperate with the CDA to attract massive development within the community.

Gowon Estate is blessed with population. It is a peculiar one, with the entire nation represented in it,’’ Ojo said.

Mrs Mary Adekanye, Head of the Department, of Agriculture and Social Services, who supervised the election, commended the residents for a successful election, urging them to support the new executives.

The Chairman, Alhaji Oyebanji Dauda, thanked the LCDA for the peaceful conduct of the election, assuring them that the executive would live up to expectations.

While appreciating the residents for the confidence they have for him and his executives, Dauda said,“This is a new era, I want everybody to come out and work for the community.’’

He also appealed to the residents to cooperate and support the CDA.

The 13-man elected officers include Chairman – Oyebanji Dauda – Chairman, Chimezie Kingsley – Vice Chairman, John Adejoro IBIJEMILUSI – Secretary, Charles Odu – Assistant Secretary, Olagunju Raymant – Treasurer, Omoniyo Omosola – Financial Sec and Edwin Nwachukwu – Public Relations.

Others include: Fayemi Felix – Auditor, Ohkai Felix – Social Secretary, Eyidanmi Oluranti – Welfare, Mustapher Ideoti – Ex-Effecio, Yusu Kamarrudeen – Ex- Offecieo 2 and Abu Bello – Ex-Officieo 3.
