Nweze revealed this at the weekend when members of the David Umahi Nweze (DUN) Divine Foundation visited the motherless babies home as part of the activities to mark the former Ebonyi governor’s 62nd birthday.

The Red Cross Supremo said that the support of the minister to the home was unquantifiable as the children and their care-givers would remain eternally indebted to the him.

“Help us tell Umahi that the children are crying to see him and that in their prayers, they have many dreams concerning him.

“They saw in the dream where he occupied a higher position than the one he is presently occupying and from there he became the president of the country.”

He noted that Umahi always visited the home whenever he celebrates his birthday and this particular one will not be an exception.

“Two.months ago, he visited the home and later offset the bills of many children through Rev. Father Abraham Nwali.

“We join Umahi in celebrating his 62 years on earth and pray that God continue keeping him to be doing good for humanity.”

Nweze appealed to the group and well-meaning individuals to assist the home solve its major problem of accommodation..

“This facility cannot accommodate the children here and we seek assistance to roof the new complex we have constructed.”

The Executive Director of the Foundation, Chief Cletus Ofoke, noted that the group was a non- governmental, political and ethnic organisation, formed to uplift mankind.

“We are made up of friends and associates, especially those who served under the administration of Umahi when he was the governor of Ebonyi State.

“Our hero is celebrating his 62nd birthday and as part of activities to mark the occasion, we decided to visit this home with our token.

“The items we brought included bags of rice, toiletries, bread, children pampers among others as we appreciate your role in uplifting the wellbeing of these children.”

He described Umahi as a humanist who has blazed the trail in assisting the needy and enhancing lives.

“We want to emulate him and pray that God strengthens you to continue delivering this humanitarian service.”

The group also organised a birthday party to honour the minister.

Chief Austin Umahi, the Minister’s Younger Brother who represented him at the party, thanked all those who honoured him, especially the organisers.
