NOC Executive Committee to supervise each of its commissions

Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) has planned that all its Executive Committee members will supervise each of its Commissions.

They are to monitor the activities of the Commissions to ensure that they are in line with the mandate and visions of the Committee.

A letter signed by Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel, President and Honourable Member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) notes that each of the members will brief during Board and Exco meetings.

The Exco Members Supervising Commissions are allocated as follows:

  1. President Engr. Habu Gumel – Liaison Commission
  2. 1st Vice President, Chief Solomon Ogbe – Marketing Commission
  3. 2nd Vice President, Engr. Ishaku Tikom – Olympafric Commission
  4. 3rd Vice President Olumide Oyedeji – Technical Commission
  5. 4th Vice President, Olabisi Joseph – Women Commission
  6. Secretary-General, Tunde Popoola – Medical Commission
  7. Dep. Sec-Gen., Mohammed Abdulahi – Olympic Education Commission
  8. Treasurer, Musa Kida – Finance Commission
  9. PRO Tony Nezianya – Sports For All Commission
  10. Co-opted Exco Member, Maria Wophill, – Athletes Commission
  11. President, Engr. Habu Gumel – Ethics and Good Governance Commission
  12. 1st Vice President, Chief Solomon Ogba – Environment Commission.
