The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ebonyi has announced a shift in its 2026 Batch B Stream 1 swearing-in ceremony for corps members from Friday June 12 to Monday, June 15, 2026.

The shift is contained in a statement signed by the NYSC Ebonyi office’s Head of Information and Public Relations, Mr Anselm Udogwu on behalf of the State Coordinator, Mrs Maidariya Maigwi.

Udogwu said the shift was due to the observance of June 12 as Nigeria’s Democracy Day which is also a public holiday.

“The dates for all other orientation course activities however, remain unchanged.

“The swearing-in ceremony will still hold at the NYSC orientation camp,
Old MacGregor College Afikpo.”

He noted in the statement, that the corps regretted any inconvenience the shift might cause its respected stakeholders in Ebonyi.
