Onyeme felicitates Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori on his 61st birthday

Delta – The Deputy Governor of Delta State,  Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA,  has felicitated with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on the occasion of his 61st birthday anniversary. 

Onyeme, in a statement by Comrade Fidelis Egugbo, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Media, described Governor Oborevwori as a man who came prepared for governance. 

According to Onyeme, Rt. Hon. Oborevwori’s exciting leadership trait was identified right from his youthful age and such that prepared him for the roles he is currently playing as the Governor of Delta State. 

The Deputy Governor said, “today, I celebrate a man who is a rare gift to Deltans and humanity, the Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, as he marks his 61st birthday anniversary.

“At 61, it is worthy to note that God has placed you in a position where you are managing the affairs of Deltans, a position he has prepared you for as the pioneer Chairman of Osubi Community,  former Councillor who severally held political appointments before emerging as member of the Delta State House of Assembly where, again, you were elected as the Speaker from where Deltans, through their voter’s cards elected you as their Governor,  our Governor. 

“As you mark the anniversary of your birth, I rejoice with you, and I join your family, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate and thank God for a life full of achievements.

“You promised Deltans MORE and they are witnessing MORE in terms of a peaceful state that is quite conducive for socio-economic activities, paying special attention to the education sector and provision of infrastructure generally and MORE human capital development as well as providing an environment for Deltans to harness their potentials for the benefits of humanity, among others. 

“Your Excellency, I wish you more years of good health and happiness as you celebrate this special day.

“Once again, congratulations and happy many returns!”
