Shettima, Akume, Uzodinma, others to grace Veritas’ 8th Inaugural Lecture

Veritas University, Bwari, Abuja, is set to hold its Eighth Inaugural Lecture in collaboration with Apollos University, Florida, USA, featuring the Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, as special guest of honour.

This is contained in a statement signed by Prof. Gabriel Okenwa, the Executive Director, Administration at the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).

Other notable dignitaries expected include Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti; Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, among others.

The lecture, which will hold on April 23, has as its theme, ”Reinventing Leadership: Strategies for Organisational Re-engineering and Entrepreneurial Success”,

It will be delivered by Okenwa, an eminent scholar and legal luminary, in the university’s ultra-modern New Multipurpose Hall at 12 noon.

Okenwa, also currently serves as the Executive Director, Administration, NSITF.

In an atmosphere expected to celebrate both intellectual rigour and cultural heritage, the ceremony will be chaired by former Governor of Imo State, Dr Ikedi Ohakim.

The academic highlight will be followed by a dinner reception and the unveiling of Okenwa’s seventh book, “The Making of a Lawyer.”

The unveiling will be conducted by Group Managing Director/CEO of Zenith Bank Plc, Dr Adaora Umeoji, alongside the Managing Director, NSITF, Mr Seun Faleye.

With a rich mix of political leadership, corporate visionaries, legal minds, and cultural pride, this event promises to be a landmark moment in Nigeria’s academic and leadership discourse.
