Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to enhancing market infrastructure, expanding access to loans and creating a business-friendly environment to support trade and commerce.

Soludo made this statement on Friday in Awka following his tour of several markets across the state, where he engaged directly with grassroots traders.

The markets he visited include Oye Aguluzuigbo, Oye Ichida, Oye Obeledu, and Oye Nimo — all located in the Anaocha Local Government Area.

“Our administration is committed to transforming the state’s economic landscape through targeted support for trade and commerce.

“Our goal is to empower traders, artisans and entrepreneurs by giving them the tools they need to succeed.

“We are working to reduce the barriers that make doing business difficult. A strong, inclusive economy starts with enabling our business community to thrive,” he said.

The Governor said that true governance should start from the grassroots, through collaboration with local leaders and citizens to drive meaningful and lasting change.

He also described the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as a solid platform for advancing development across all sectors of the state.

He further expressed optimism about the future of the state under the banner of APGA.

“Together, we will ensure that the voices of our people are not just heard, but acted upon.

“Our strength lies in our unity, and as we continue to work together, there is nothing we cannot achieve,” he said.

Soludo reaffirmed his ongoing commitment to engaging directly with the public in to promote transparent governance.
