The National Leader of the African Action Congress (ACC), Omoyele Sowore has urged Nigerians to be vigilant in the year 2025 and demand accountability from those that lead them.

Sowore, a political activist and publisher of Sahara Reporters, an international online publication, said that it had always been the view of his party that only Nigerians could liberate themselves.

The party’s 2023 presidential candidate, noted that the essence of unity and the need to put in check those who he said, seek to divide them along ethnic and religious lines.

“It is when Nigerians were united, that they would create for themselves a country that would reflect their values and one where their children would live in boundless opportunities.

“We have always maintained that only the Nigerian people can liberate themselves.

“To that end, they must remain vigilant and demand accountability from those who purport to lead.

“They must unite against those who seek to divide them along ethnic and religious lines.

“When we are united, we will create for ourselves a country that reflects our values; one where our children will live in boundless opportunities. Nothing less is acceptable,” he said.
