The Collective Movement (TCM), a socio-political group, has expressed sadness at the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR).

Hon. Collins Chukwuma, the National Coordinator of TCM, in a condolence message, extended the group’s deepest condolences to his family, Nigerians across all regions, and admirers worldwide.

“It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR), who departed this life on July 13, 2025, in London at the age of 82. His unique journey – from military head of state to the first opposition-elected president – left a significant imprint on Nigeria’s political landscape.

“While opinions about his leadership remain deeply mixed – praised for his anti-corruption efforts and struggle against Boko Haram, yet criticized for economic challenges, prolonged medical absences abroad, and the handling of civil unrest – his contributions to Nigeria’s democratic evolution are undeniable.

“May his soul find eternal peace, and may our nation draw strength from the lessons his legacy offers,’’ Chukwuma said.

TCM is a fast-growing, people-powered platform for patriotic, forward-thinking Nigerians – both at home and in the diaspora – who are committed to building a stronger, united, inclusive, and prosperous nation.

It is organically mobilizing a nationwide movement with -`One Mind, One Purpose – to awaken and shape the future of Nigeria by enabling credible, purposeful and intentional leadership while driving impactful change from the grassroots to the highest echelons in Nigeria.

With over 2 million members already mobilized organically across the country, TCM’s goal is to reach over 25 million committed citizens by December 2025.
