The Presidency has dismissed former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai’s criticisms of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, saying El-Rufai lacks the capacity to “unsettle” the government.
According to Daniel Bwala, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, the President is not bothered by El-Rufai’s relentless criticism. Bwala stated that the opposition is directionless and that the APC remains the only organized political party in Nigeria.
The Presidency’s response comes amid El-Rufai’s accusations that the APC has derailed from its founding values and lacks internal democracy. Despite being a member of the APC, El-Rufai has been vocal in his criticisms of the party and Tinubu’s administration.
