Temidayo Ogan music medicine takes music therapy to London

The Temidayo Ogan Music Medicine from the Temidayo Ogan Child Safety and Support (TOCSS) Foundation has launched a music therapy programme for promotion of mental health and general well-being in London.
Rev. Temidayo Ogan, founder and President of TOCSS Foundation International and TOCSS Foundation Nigeria, said that the promotion was done through a music concert.
Ogan said this in a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday in Lagos.
Ogan described the TOCSS Gospel Music Experience event as a Music Medicine Project that seek to promote mental health awareness and general public health and safety around the world.
The theme of the London event is the same as the recent Lagos Music Medicine Event from TOCSS Foundation; Artificial Intelligence: Public Health and Safety Risks. lf you may recall, the Temidayo Ogan Music Medicine, from TOCSS: THE EVENT recently organized a Lagos Music Therapy Event in Oregun Alausa.
The muisic event featured brand exhibitions, including the United Nations Global Goals and other strategic public health and safety posters; which the attendees interacted with at the event. The TOCSS Gospel Music Experience is organised by Temidayo Ogan Music Medicine and Mista Olamilekan (Olamilekan Olowosile), the recipient of the 2024 TOCSS Foundation International USA’ Artist In Residence Honours,” she said.
She added that the music therapy project was from TOCSS Foundation Nigeria and TOCSS Foundation International USA.
Ogan noted that they are committed to continuous improvements and would continue to promote quality music and the artistes that resonates with our core objectives, around the world, in order to achieve our mental health promotions goals.
She added that music done right and performed right had a great potential to relax the mind and body; and by extension improve mental health and general well-being.
The Temidayo Ogan Music Medicine project is a an advocacy tool and a quality of life treatment tool. Temidayo Ogan Muisc Medicine team is registered with global music associations including the International Association For Music and Medicine USA.
We are happy to take quality music, including gospel music, around the world, collaborating with brands that will join efforts and relevant resources with us to deliver our mental health promotions goals. The London event is organised by Temidayo Ogan Music Medicine and Mista Olamilekan Entertainment. Our next stop will be in Germany and the United States of America,” she said.
