Members of Nigeria Olympic Committee Athlete Commission

Abuja, July 12, 2023 – The Nigeria Olympic Committee Athlete Commission has directed its leadership to propose a suitable health insurance schemes to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.

According to Niyi Busari, Media Consultant Nigeria Olympians Association, the Commission stated this at the end of its Forum on Wednesday in Abuja.

The Commission also urged its leadership to stressed on the importance of such policy on national athletes.

In a five paragraph communique issued at the end of the Forum on July 10, 2023 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja, the Forum also demanded that the leadership should request the participation of the Athletes Commission at the forthcoming National Youth Games.

The Olympic Committee Athlete Commission expressed their appreciation to the Nigeria Olympic Committee for her continuous support towards the Nigeria Athletes Commission.

It also looked forward to working on the improved relationship with the Federation and Elite Athletes Department (FEAD) of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development following their continuous presence during her activities. (108scoop.com)
