Dr Innocent Unah, the Coordinator of Dr Innocent Unah Support Movement (IUSM) has called on the National and Community Executives of the movement to increase its steadfastness in mobilising support for Governor Francis Nwifuru’s re-election.

Unah while addressing the executives, urged members of the movement not to relent in their grassroots mobilisation.

“You must work harder to ensure that Nwifuru emerges victorious in the forthcoming election as IUSM is a pace-setter.

“We are the first group in Onicha Local Government Area (LGA) and possibly in Ebonyi State, to commence the Governor’s re-election campaign.

“This is through the organisation of a 20,000-man march in support of his second-term bid as we previously held a mega rally in Oshiri affirming community support for the re-election.”

He charged the executives to intensify their efforts, particularly in Onicha LGA which is seen as an opposition-leaning area.

“This stresses the need for sustained mobilisation to deliver Governor Nwifuru in Onicha, especially in Oshiri where the movement has continued to build support for the re-election.

“I assure that your sacrifices and hard work would not be in vain as we would benefit from the struggle once Governor Nwifuru wins.

“The governor believes in the philosophy of onye ruo orie—He who works must eat and will continue to reward commitment, loyalty and service to the people.”

The leaders unanimously resolved to re-double their efforts in spreading the news of Nwifuru’s re-election.

They pledged renewed commitment to work collectively towards delivering Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru in the 2027 general election.Support group Convener seeks steadfastness in supporting Nwufuru’s re–election
